The Meridian Street Foundation (MSF) is an all-volunteer neighborhood association that focuses upon the North Meridian Street corridor between Westfield Boulevard and 40th Street. Our first order of business is to support the Meridian Street Preservation Commission (MSPC) in its effort to protect the North Meridian Street Historic District. We have a Land Use Committee to help all those owning property in the Preservation Areas (Primary and Secondary) with petitions for prior approval of variances and for zoning changes and to help those in the Primary Preservation Area (the North Meridian Street Historic District) with applications for certificates of appropriateness for exterior changes on their property (see Design Guidelines). However, our efforts also include beautifcation projects (Beautification Committee) such as planting spring bulbs and trees, placing holiday decorations on lamp posts, and turning Alice Carter Park (HARMONI) into a beautiful entry into the District. We also have a By-Laws Committee, a CrimeWatch/Public Safety/Traffic Committee, a Membership Committee, a Newsletter Committee, an Events/Auxiliary Committee, and a Communications/Website/Database Committee. MSF also sends alerts to its members by "Calling Post" phone messages and/or mass email messages regarding the Foundation, neighborhood safety concerns and most recently property tax issues.

We need your financial support to sustain our mission to maintain the integrity of our wonderful historic neighborhood. Although our community has many people who volunteer their time to help MSF, we could not continue without your generosity. Our dues range from $25-$30 (Individual), $30-$60-$90 (Family), $100-$150-$200 (Benefactor) to $225-$275-$325 or more (Sustaining Member), whatever your family is comfortable with giving.
