The eighth annual Easter Egg Hunt was a great success despite the miserable weather conditions. The annual hunt is located at the Klein’s house which has been a home to seven governors and is considered one of Meridian Street Foundation’s local treasures. It is especially well suited for a youth activity because it is walled and gated making it a safe place for the many roaming children. The Easter Bunny made a special visit to see the eighty five children that participated in searching for over 1200 Easter Eggs. Everyone enjoyed themselves as they nibbled on donated goodies. A special thanks to some of our favorite local neighborhood vendors that donated to make this a great event; Hubbard and Cravens, Flying Cupcake, Café Patachou, and Kids Ink. Hopefully, next year’s hunt will be warmer!
